Being owner and member of the Bark'NCallPetcare team affords me the opportunity
of doing something I have always loved, which is spend time with pets.
It has helped me develop a deeper understanding of domesticated pets and their needs.
I began dog walking professionally in Fort Lauderdale in 2005 after relocating
from Frankfurt Germany, receiving my permanent residence and researching business
opportunities. I knew this was the right choice because of my affinity for animals.
Growing up in Frankfurt Germany, I was the one closest to our Pets. I think I truly fell in love
with animals on our visits to see relatives in Croatia. There were always cows, chickens and
other animals whose antics captivated me. Even school and becoming a nursery school
teacher could not interfere with the love I have for pets. Every evening after work, I would
go jogging or rollerblading with my brother’s 11-year-old female Rottweiler, Donna.
We spent so much time together I began to call her mine. She is a good friend and I miss her.
In fact I miss her so much I had to have another dog.
My husband and I are proud pet parents of our dog Nahla. She was a stray when I found her.
The sickest, most helpless thing I ever had to care for. Today, Nahla is the ever happy
Plott Hound.

With today's work demands and other commitments, pet owners have little time
to ensure their pets receive the proper exercise they need.
Sadly, many dogs spend their days within the confines of the home eating or sleeping
their way to obesity and later suffering health problems shortening their life span.
My name is Elwyn L. Green, big dogs are my specialty and in addition to the many services
we provide I offer fitness training, daily running and brisks walks. These services
are designed to boost the dogs cardiovascular activity and promote weight loss.
Certain breeds, dogs with heavy coats and dogs with health issues may have problems dissipating heat. As a comfort to the pet doggy fitness and running are done only in
the cooler early morning and late evening hours.In adolesence, I loved running and training
our Dobermans and German Shepherd. Growing up here in South Florida, I shared many
hours of fun in the sun with those dogs. It wasn't until my wife, Susanne, began working
as a dog walker that I began to miss the bond between man and dog. I am happy to provide
a service for furry friends and families alike.
