Great physical shape can be achieved in just 45 minutes a day. Our
Dog Running program
includes more than jogging and running. We also combine cycling sessions
that progress at a pace
specific to each dog's needs.
The goal of our Dog Running is to help maintain your dog's fitness and
good health.
With this in mind we give you a basic estimate of how much time your
dog should spend
with us per week after our "Evaluation Run", or introductory meeting.
Beyond the obvious benefits of physical health and weight control,
daily running and jogging
have proved to help curb behavioral issues, assist behavior therapy,
and relieve stress and anxiety.
When your dog starts we will begin by slowly building up his or her
endurance.
Our fitness sessions begin with a warm up walk and end with a cool down
on the way back home.
Potty breaks are always welcomed if needed.
We are also trained to watch your dog carefully for signs of discomfort
including; dehydration,
overheating, joint pain and fatigue. If signs of struggling, tiring,
or erratic behavior are present,
the work out will end immediately and the owner will be informed of
the days preceedings.
It is important to address a few questions prior to starting our program.
- What is the current fitness level of your dog? Does he or she
run frequently or almost never?
What does his or her daily exercise typically consist of? - Has your pet recently had a check up at the vet? If it's been
longer than six months we encourage
you to have his or her heart, lungs, joints, etc. checked by your veterinarian before starting
him or her out on our, or any new, fitness program.

A copy of all certificates will be made available to you upon your request.
Our tools and boots are sanitized with an EPA approved parvocide & disenfectant.
While we do disinfectant kennels and dog runs, we do not "disinfect"
yards or apply chemicals to your lawn in any way. In 10 years
of experience, no available product will penetrate deeply enough to
do any real good, and we do not want clients to spend money on products
claiming otherwise.

One of the most frequent questions we receive is, will we make sure the gate is closed. Of course we will check that is done - twice. We are all dog owners and lovers here. The last thing we want to risk is your children or dogs getting out.
